Creative Clinical Supervision is a supportive and reflective process for therapists, counsellors, and other helping professionals. It provides a safe space to explore your work, develop your skills, and manage the emotional challenges that can come with this kind of role.
What makes Creative Clinical Supervision unique is the integration of creative methods—such as art, metaphor, sandtray, and other expressive and projective techniques—into the supervisory process. These creative tools help unlock fresh perspectives, deepen understanding, and encourage new ways of thinking about your work and your professional development.
A framework I use in supervision is the Seven-Eyed Model, which encourages exploration of different perspectives—including your work with clients, your own reactions, the supervisory relationship, and the wider context of your practice. This multi-layered approach, combined with creative techniques, enriches reflection and supports both your professional growth and personal well-being.
If you’re looking for supervision that goes beyond traditional talking and embraces creativity as a way to deepen your practice, Creative Clinical Supervision might be a perfect fit.
